Larry Madrigal is a Mexican American figurative painter whose previous obsession with portraiture has fused together with an interest in personal narrative and thematic representation. He is a recipient of The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant, and was included in the inaugural 2018 XL Catlin Art Prize Traveling Exhibition. He currently lives and works in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and daughter, while pursuing his MFA at Arizona State University.
